Ok so I feel asleep trying to get warm. I usually don't take naps unless I'm sick. I'm thinking now I may have had a fever or something. I figured I'd have sweet dreams last night after the x-mas back rub, but you can't dream if you dont sleep. I tossed and turned all damn night. Anyway, this is the strange little dream I had when I took my little nap.

I was in a house. One that looked familiar, yet strange to me. There was a knock at the front door. My dad (who is deceased) went to the door and answered it. "Hey! C'mon in man!" he said. I was in the back room with my daughter playing with the karaoke machine. My daughter was singing "Cover Girl" LOL It was cute! My dad called out for me to come into the living room. "Shanna, you need to come here. There is someone I want you to meet." "Ok Dad, I'm coming" I said I walked down the hallway and about halfway down I stopped in my tracks and couldn't move.

There standing my living room dressed in a black sweater, jeans, dress shoes, and sunglasses was...Jon Knight. "Shanna..C'mon!" my dad yelled. I mustered up enough courage to make into the living room. Knees knocking..heart pounding..I managed to crack a smile, but the look of surprise on my face was still evident. My dad was laughing hysterically (yes my dad would if were alive and could see me now! LOL) Jon extended his hand out for shake and said. "Hi, I'm Jon." With my voice shaking "Hi Jon, yes I know who you are." I grinned. "Hey what a pretty bracelet you have on." he said (not realizing I had on the Jon bracelet that Jen had made for me) "Huh? Oh!" I laughed. So I pulled the bracelet off and explained to him what every charm meant. And that a very dear friend and BH sister had made it just for me.

"Ok Jon, the green beads stand for your fav color, the blue beads are my fav color, the horse charm symbolizes your love for horses and my desire to run wild and free. The music note symbolizes that you are a musician, and for me its because I love to sing. The keys..(ok I got a little nervous to explain this one LOL) the keys repesent that you "secretly" have the keys to my heart." "Wow! That's really a sweet thing!" he said. "Yes she made it for me so that I'd always have you near me." I said blushing. He reached out and gave me a big o'l hug! He asked me if I wear it everyday I told him that I never took it off. He giggled.

So he and my dad sat down on the couch and started chit chatting. I asked dad to come and see me in back room for min. I asked dad "How do you know Jon dad? I mean, this is so strange!" "Shanna I did a maintainence job on one of his houses a while back..we hit it off and been friends ever since." (Note: My dad was a repair and maintainence man for a homeless shelter for 15 yrs) "Dad how come you never told me this?" I asked "Shanna I wanted to wait for the right time, I needed to know how you truly felt about him. And over the past few months I've seen how much he means to you. So, I thought he could come and spend some time here and get to know you." I started to cry. "Dad..thank you!" I said. "Ok wipe them silly ass tears out your eyes and get in there and charm the hell outta that man ok!" my dad said. I hugged my dad. (Note: This is strange to me since my daddy has been gone for 3 yrs now but IF this really had happened he would've done this to me just to see me embarrassed as hell!)

So the rest of the dream me, Jon, my dad, my daughter, and my mom, spent the whole rest of that night just talking. I sat next to Jon on the couch with his arm around me the whole time. I was in true heaven. (I had to be because the ppl that meant the most to me were right there..everyone one of them angels ;-) ) My daughter leaned over and whispered something in Jon's ear. I shot her a look. (Oh lord what is she saying) I thought. Jon leaned over and kissed me on the cheek and whispered in my ear. "I love you too." I cuddled closer to him and could feel his heart beating very fast. We snuggled tight like that..Then I woke up!

This dream was strange to me because I have not dreamt about my dad for a long time. It was very bittersweet. I had tears in my eyes when I woke up. Ok so..Enjoy reading this weird dream. LOL
